In addition, the state-owned company is selling four natural gas processing units (UPGNs) and treatment and compression stations, oil tanks, and LPG spheres.

The fields are in a remote area and have an airport, medical center, and logistics support bases, all up for sale.

According to Petrobras, “This operation is aligned with the strategy of portfolio optimization and improving the allocation of the company’s capital, increasingly concentrating its resources on deep and ultra-deep waters, where Petrobras has shown a great competitive differential over the years.”

In Addition To Advancing The Sale Of The Urucu Field, Petrobras Announced Yesterday That It Completed The Sale Of The Onshore Dó-Ré-Mi Field In The Sergipe Lagoon To Centro Oeste Óleo E Gás.

According to Petrobras’ report, the sale value is US$ 37.6 thousand, to be paid by Centro Oeste Óleo e Gás in a single installment upon signing the contract.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of precedents. Among them are the non-exercise of the right of first refusal by the current partner Petrogal Brasil S.A. and approval by the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels).
