GasLub Pole Itaboraí:
The former Petrochemical Complex, located in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, is undergoing transformations and is now called GasLub Pole Itaboraí.
They are studying the construction of a lubricants processing plant, using existing interconnections of some units in the Pole with the Duque de Caxias Refinery (Reduc), allowing the production of high-quality lubricants and fuels from intermediate refinery products.
They are also analyzing the possibility of building a thermal plant in partnership with other investors for energy generation from pre-salt gas processed at GasLub.
The site continues with construction works to complete the Integrated Project Rota 3, which includes a Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) and a gas pipeline. Expected to be completed in 2021, Rota 3 will have the capacity to flow and process 21 million cubic meters of pre-salt gas daily.
