The director of EAD technical courses Gustavo Castioni explains that professional training through EAD becomes a preference for the public aged 18 to 44 for offering practical content and for the average duration of the qualification. “Confirming the interest of this target audience, the profile of the student who studies in the distance learning modality is characterized by autonomy in learning, organization and proactivity”, he says.
One of the main advantages of distance learning is the opportunity to take a quality course anywhere in Brazil. Castioni adds: “We have many testimonials from students who took Senac EAD courses in parallel with their work activities. […] Others shared that they use the weekend to review content and resolve issues presented in class.”
Other issues responsible for the increase in the number of people who prefer distance learning were the growth of the internet network and the drop in the cost of devices such as smartphones and notebooks.
In this vein, the Brazilian Internet Management Committee (CGI.br) developed the ICT Households 2020 survey, which highlighted that the number of homes with internet had increased by 12% compared to the previous year, in addition to the growth in online courses. by 21%.
How to prepare for online technical courses?
For those who intend to start their studies in the modality, the direction of Senac EAD's director is to organize themselves into a routine, with a day and time to dedicate themselves to reading and carrying out exercises, assignments and assessments.
“I believe that the best suggestion I can give is that the student does not give up in the first difficulties that arise, because involvement and dedication are fundamental to developing knowledge. Paying attention to notices and deadlines for delivering activities and schedules is also very important and will give peace of mind on the learning journey”, he argues.
As for the level of technical courses offered by Senac EAD, Gustavo says that the materials are developed by specialists, doctors and masters. Theory and practice are allied so that students can learn about the daily experience of the profession.
“An important point that should be highlighted is our pedagogical model, focused on developing students' skills for the work environment. The performance indicators are well defined and help the classes to identify the importance of the activities that are carried out”, he points out.
