With Digital Panel, Integrated GPS, and Fuel-Efficient Engine, the Indian Streetbike Revamps to Dominate the Segment. Find Out If It’s Worth It.
The Bajaj Dominar NS 200 2026 arrives in the Brazilian market even more complete. The model, which is already a sales success, received important updates in technology and design. Assembled in Manaus, this Indian-origin motorcycle reinforces its proposal as an urban streetbike, perfect for the hustle and bustle of daily life, but now with even more features for the rider.
What’s New in the New Generation of the Dominar NS 200?
The main evolution of the 2026 model lies in the onboard technology. Starting with the name, which now incorporates the acronym NS, for Naked Sport. The motorcycle has gained a new headlight and LED turn signals, new illuminated switches, and a 100% digital panel with Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, a useful Type A USB socket has been added, positioned to the left of the panel, for charging mobile phones. Another significant novelty is the three riding modes (Road, Rain, and Off-road), which alter the engine’s power delivery.
Power and Efficiency in Just the Right Measure

The heart of the Dominar NS 200 is a 199.5 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with SOHC valve timing, four valves, and three spark plugs, known as DTS-i. It delivers 24 horsepower and 1.88 kgf.m of torque. Combined with a six-speed transmission, the package is both powerful and economical.

Fuel consumption is one of the highlights. In a more aggressive ride, the motorcycle achieves between 32 and 35 km/l. In a relaxed driving style, respecting speed limits, it is possible to exceed 40 km/l. The top speed is electronically limited to 152 km/h. The tank capacity is 12 liters, with 3 liters reserved.
Digital Panel and Innovative Features

The new digital panel with blackout LCD screen is the centerpiece of the technology. Through the Bajaj Ride Connect app, the rider connects their phone to the motorcycle via Bluetooth and accesses various features. The panel displays alerts for received calls, messages, and missed calls. The standout feature is the turn-by-turn navigation system, which shows directions directly on the motorcycle’s screen.
The three riding modes (Road, Rain, and Off-road) adjust the engine performance for different conditions. The Off-road mode was included due to the model’s intensive use on unpaved roads in India.
Chassis, Comfort, and Safety on the Asphalt
The NS 200 is a lightweight motorcycle, weighing only 158 kg in running order. Its structure is based on a perimeter beam chassis, which offers agility for urban riding. The front suspension is inverted, from Endurance, with 130 mm of travel. At the rear, the system is a mono-shock, also from Endurance, with a Nitrox expansion reservoir and spring preload adjustment.
Safety is ensured by disc brakes on both wheels with a dual-channel ABS system, which prevents wheel lock during sudden braking. The motorcycle comes factory-equipped with important accessories, such as a center stand, fairing protectors, lower engine spoiler, and a snow plow.
Price, Colors, and Points to Consider in the Bajaj Dominar NS 200 2026
The Bajaj Dominar NS 200 2026 is available in four color options: black (Ebony Black), red (Cocktail Wine Red), white (Pearl Metallic White), and gray (Pewter Grey). The suggested price for the new model is R$ 20,900, including shipping. The brand offers 3 years of warranty with fixed-price maintenance.
Despite being very complete, there are some drawbacks to mention. The engine runs only on gasoline, lacking flex fuel system. The panel, although modern, can be a bit dark on sunny days, and the passenger seat foam is considered hard. There is also a lack of a hazard light.
