OceanPact and Porto do Açu signed a 25-year contract this Monday, 17/08, for the implementation of an environmental protection base and offshore logistics
OceanPact will occupy an area of 29.300 m² with a reserve of more than 16.250 m² for expansion, which includes dredging and construction of a pier in the leased area next to the Port of Açu, adding even more to the offshore oil and gas industry.

“We have been active in Environmental Protection activities at the Port of Açu since 2014 and, without a doubt, this is an excellent time to expand our activities at Açu, offering our customers the largest and most complete Environmental Protection Base in Latin America. In addition, we will also offer our other services in the Environment, Subsea Operations, Logistics and Engineering”, says Erik Fabian Cunha, Commercial and New Business director at OceanPact.
