The Number of Vacancies at Açu Port Could Reach 3,000 Starting in 2019
The Minister of Mines and Energy, Moreira Franco, signed on July 30 the authorization for the implementation of the GNA II Thermoelectric Plant, developed by Gás Natural Açu at the Açu Port, in São João da Barra (RJ).
The enterprise will have 1,673 MW of installed capacity, enough to supply seven million households. With this grant, Açu Port will become the largest thermoelectric complex in Latin America, generating many jobs during the construction phase. Learn more about it here.
