Açu Port Representatives Attend The IAPH World Ports Conference 2019, Also In Guangzhou
Rio de Janeiro, May 8, 2019 – Açu Port Operations and the Chinese port of Guangzhou signed a Cooperation Agreement today aimed at sharing best practices and knowledge in port operation and management, as well as strengthening cooperation in investments and business development. The agreement enables the establishment of a strategic relationship between the ports, contributing to the exchange of innovative technologies and improving cargo flows between the two ports.
Narrowing relationships with Asian countries is part of the company’s strategy to connect Brazil to world-class ports that share the same characteristics as Açu, such as state-of-the-art infrastructure and logistical efficiency. “The partnership with the Port of Guangzhou, which is the 5th largest in the world, recognizes Açu’s potential and its differentiators. We are an industrial port in operation, capable of receiving large vessels and with available back areas for the installation of industries.
