São Paulo City Hall, through the Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Center (Cate), has made available more than 1,600 job vacancies in sectors such as commerce, services, health, and civil construction.
Salary ranges from R$ 1,200 to R$ 4,000, depending on the role and requirements.
For those looking to work in the food sector, there are 58 vacancies for kitchen production.
All positions are permanent and require, at minimum, complete elementary school education and six months of prior experience. Salaries range from R$ 1,600 to R$ 2,650.
In the service and retail sector, 91 vacancies are open for attendants and cashiers. Most opportunities require complete high school education and experience in the field.
The salary can vary between R$ 1,200 and R$ 2,205.
The telemarketing sector is also hiring! There are 62 vacancies available for active and inbound agents, some of which require bilingual professionals. The salary can reach R$ 1,800.
Additionally, there are opportunities for civil construction professionals, with various vacancies open for bricklayers, general helpers, and electricians.
Compensation ranges from R$ 1,800 to R$ 3,500, depending on the role and required experience.
The health sector is also recruiting, offering positions for nursing assistants, clinic receptionists, and elderly caregivers, with salaries between R$ 1,500 and R$ 4,000.
Temporary Positions for Carnival 2025
In addition to fixed vacancies, São Paulo City Hall is also offering more than 200 temporary positions to work during Carnival 2025.
Most opportunities are in the cleaning sector, with salaries ranging between R$ 1,121 and R$ 2,279. Some positions do not require previous experience or minimum education, expanding access to candidates from different backgrounds.
Among these opportunities, 30 vacancies are specifically for the Carnival period. Interested individuals can obtain a referral letter at the nearest Cate and attend the interview at the responsible company located in the Mooca area.
New selections will take place at Cate Central, at Av. Rio Branco, 252. These opportunities are exclusive to men aged between 25 and 60, with no need for experience and a requirement of completed elementary school education. The offered salary is R$ 1,751.
