Volvo Just Officially Launched Its First Electric Car in the Brazilian Market. The Model, in Addition to Incredible Power and Autonomy, Comes with Several State-of-the-Art Technologies
Volvo announced the arrival of its new member of the SUV lineup this week, the XC40 Pure Electric. This is the first electric car that the brand is launching in the Brazilian market. It’s not just the electric motor that impresses in the new vehicle; technologies and accessories have also been added that definitely enhance the buyers’ experience.

The interior of the model retains many qualities of its hybrid version, especially with the technologies it possesses. With two new digital screens, one behind the steering wheel, measuring 12.3 inches, and at the center of the vehicle, there is a 9-inch vertical multimedia center.
The Volvo electric car brings a novelty, the unprecedented operating system Google Automotive Services, which includes voice commands to help drivers concentrate on the road.
Additionally, the driver will be able to access native car applications through Google Play. However, besides these gadgets, the Volvo electric car also brings technologies designed to ensure people’s safety, such as:

408 Horsepower
In terms of mechanical assembly, the XC40 Pure Electric comes equipped with two motors called p8 AWD (All Wheel Drive) that can generate 408 horsepower and 660 Nm of torque.
According to Volvo, the model can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and its top speed is 180 km/h. The model is powered by a 78 kWh battery, allowing the vehicle to have a range of 400 km. It is possible to charge 80% of the vehicle in just 40 minutes, so you can use a fast charging system.
