There Are 21 Openings and Selected Candidates Will Receive Scholarships of 780 Reais from Petrobras. Applications Will Close on January 6, 2020

Petrobras calls on undergraduates in all or any higher education field across Brazil for the new program, with a scholarship of 780 reais. With the new digital transformation projects of the state company focused on the oil and gas sector, it is a moment of innovation through motivated young people.

This program was conceived by Petrobras in partnership with PUC-RIO, named IGNIÇÃO. The program has a duration of one year and there is no need for experience. However, one of the fundamental requirements is that the student is expected to graduate by January 2021.

A total of 21 openings are being offered. The main objective is to provide scholarship holders with technological, methodological, instrumental knowledge and training, encouraging students to develop digital transformation solutions. The course covers topics such as artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies, as well as web, mobile applications, and bots.

How to Apply for Petrobras’ Ignition Program

For interested parties, applications can be made on the PUC-RIO website here or you can download the announcement for more detailed consultation. Applications close on January 6, 2020, and selected candidates will begin their activities on February 3. Candidates must be available to carry out their activities on the Gávea campus from 2 PM to 6 PM.
