The Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical Scientific Center of PUC-Rio (CTC/PUC-Rio), in partnership with the Energy Institute of PUC (IEPUC), is open for enrollment until August 7 for the online specialization course (EAD) with MBE Energy certification.
The Lato Sensu graduate program qualifies students to carry out activities related to project evaluation, planning, and regulatory consistency in the energy sector.
The MBE Energy program also includes case studies with the participation of industry specialists and executives to promote a deeper analysis of planning in engineering and provide support for the decision-making process.

About The Online Specialization Course (EAD) With Certification
The MBE course is intended for those interested in the energy field. Eligible professionals for enrollment include those with degrees in engineering, economics, law, and related areas, graduated from educational institutions duly recognized by the Ministry of Education and holding legally recognized diplomas to practice their professions in Brazil.
Classes will be conducted remotely, via Zoom. Classes will be recorded and made available for consultation for up to 2 months after the course end date.
Various teaching methods will be adopted considering the interdisciplinary nature of the course and the characteristics of each subject. In general, expository classes, videos, lectures, seminars, etc., will be used.
With the aim of deepening knowledge, case studies may be employed, with the participation of specialists and executives from the sector, allowing for more in-depth analyses, assisting students in planning activities, and providing support for the decision-making process.
Those interested in the paid online specialization course (EAD) with certification offered by PUC must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 PM to 9 PM, to attend the expository classes, lectures, videos, and seminars of the course.
