What is the course and who can participate?
O Lato Sensu Specialization Course in Distance Education in Professional and Technological Education, offered by IFPE, is an advanced level training aimed at educators, managers and professionals in the education field who seek to develop skills in the creation and management of educational projects in the EAD modality.
According to IFPE Notice No. 36/2024-GR, the program combines theory and practice in a hybrid teaching structure, with online classes and in-person meetings at centers spread throughout Pernambuco. Course structure
The training takes place predominantly in the EAD format, but includes face-to-face moments for practical activities, ensuring that students develop technical and pedagogical skills in real environments.

- Managers and other professionals in Basic Education.
- Other candidates who meet the requirements of the notice.
Furthermore, vacancies are divided between open competition and quotas reserved for black people (black and brown), indigenous people, quilombolas and people with disabilities.

This business of exemption for blacks and indigenous people includes some and excludes others. I think people should be chosen based on their desire to practice the profession, as many of them end up giving up because it is easy to have this exemption. That is a shame.
