And there’s more: through partnerships with large institutions, the program also provides 5,000 free English spots, currently training those specific to the tourism and business sectors, according to the DOL website.

Training Opportunities in Various Areas

The program offers a wide range of courses for those seeking complete professional training. Among the options are courses in training for waiters and waitresses, receptive tourism, digital marketing, and sustainable tourism management. And there’s more! For those looking to expand their knowledge in hospitality, there are courses that cover service excellence, customer reception, and even bar and restaurant management.

Want to know what else? The English spots are a great advantage! They are offered through a partnership with the Instituto Coca-Cola Brasil, Solar Coca-Cola, and EF Education First, increasing access to learning the language essential for the tourism market. These online courses provide high-quality training, preparing participants for the upcoming international scenario.

Enrolling is easy and quick. Simply access the official program portal and look for the course that best matches your profile. At the end of the program, the expectation is that up to 12,000 professionals will be trained, with a target of reaching 22,000 certifications by the time of the COP 30 event. This represents a huge opportunity for those who want to qualify and secure a competitive edge in the market!

Details About the Program and Where It Will Be Offered

Therefore, led by the Government of Pará through the Secretary of State for Science, Technology, Higher, Vocational, and Technological Education (Sectet), the Capacita COP 30 aims to train professionals for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30), which will take place in Belém in 2025. However, in addition to online options, the program has also expanded its reach to in-person hubs in locations such as Castanhal, Santa Izabel, Benevides, and Salvaterra. Each hub will have classes of 30 students for in-person courses, promoting professional training in various areas.

With this third phase, the program reaffirms its commitment to the professional and personal development of the population, investing in what is most important: human potential!
