Objectives and Details of the Course:
Aimed at national basic education educators, the course offered by MEC addresses the functioning of the central nervous system (CNS), its regions, and the cognitive processes that influence learning, being taught by the AVAMEC Platform AVAMEC.
The course aims to apply this knowledge in the school routine, developing new strategies and practices aligned with the cognitive development of students in different educational stages, including early childhood education, elementary school I and II, high school, and adult education.
Structure and Workload:
The course has a total workload of 200 hours, divided into five modules:
- Introduction to the Study of Neuroscience Applied to Education: Neuroeducation
- Neuroscience and the Demands of Early Childhood Education
- Neuroscience and the Demands of Elementary School
- Neuroscience and the Demands of High School
- Neuroscience and the Demands of Adult Education
- Evaluation Module
Registrations and Selection MEC:
200 thousand vacancies are offered for this new class, with immediate start of activities, allowing candidates from all over Brazil to participate and acquire a new certificate for their resumes.
The registrations are made on the institution’s website. There is no selection process, and course activities can be started immediately after registration. A 200-hour certification will be issued for participants who complete the activities within the stipulated time, meeting all necessary requirements.
