Who Can Apply for the Specializations
Each specialization has specific criteria for application, as outlined in the notice:
- Management in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)
Targeted at graduates in any field, preferably those who are already working or wish to work in public educational management roles, such as pedagogical coordination, teaching supervision, and school administration.

Also aimed at graduates in any field, this specialization focuses on professionals who already work or have an interest in working in Professional and Technological Education in the EaD format.

- Science Teaching “Science is 10!”
Directed at teachers with qualifications recognized by MEC, who are already teaching in the areas of Natural Sciences in Basic Education.

Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria
The selection process will be conducted in a simplified manner, based on curriculum analysis.
The criteria include the academic background of candidates, professional experience, participation in academic events, and volunteer activities.
IFPE emphasizes that this format facilitates access for interested candidates and allows for a fair selection tailored to the profile of each course.
To participate, candidates must submit the required documentation and fill out the application form within the stipulated deadline, as specified in the notice.
The application fee is R$ 50, but there is a possibility of exemption for members of the Unified Registry (CadÚnico) and low-income families.
Distribution of Slots and Teaching Locations
The slots are distributed across centers in several cities in Pernambuco: Águas Belas, Carpina, Gravatá, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Palmares, Pesqueira, Sertânia, Surubim, and Santa Cruz do Capibaribe. In addition to these municipalities, the center in Santana do Ipanema, in Alagoas, will also offer slots, allowing professionals in the region to expand their qualification and professional opportunities.

Applications for the free specializations at IFPE begin on November 1 and run until November 25.
To secure the fee exemption, candidates enrolled in CadÚnico must request it between November 1 and 8, through the official IFPE website.
