With US$ 32.1 billion in orders and 1,492 aircraft in its backlog, Embraer expands its strength in commercial aviation, driven by regional jets like the E175 and E195-E2 and by recent agreements with international companies
According to information from the Revista Fórum portal, Embraer reached US$ 32.1 billion in its order backlog, approximately R$ 160.4 billion, driven by global demand for regional jets and civil aviation aircraft in the first quarter of 2026.
Record backlog
This volume marks the sixth historical record of its kind for the company. The increase comes at a time of greater demand for aircraft focused on regional transport, a segment in which the manufacturer has a consolidated presence.
The total backlog comprises 1,492 aircraft on order. Of this total, 470 units are still awaiting delivery, showing the size of the contracted and pending volume.

Commercial aviation on the rise
The Commercial Aviation division accumulated US$ 15 billion in orders in the first quarter of 2026. This result represents a 50% growth compared to the same period last year.
Among the models offered is the Embraer E175, an aircraft whose reputation is already consolidated in the international market, especially in the United States. This progress reinforces the strength of the commercial area within the global backlog.
Regional jets at the center
Regional jets are among the main successes in Embraer’s portfolio. In addition to the E175, the company highlights the Embraer E195-E2, a model from the second generation of the E-jets family.
The E195-E2 is presented as a more efficient option, with more aerodynamic wings and updated avionics systems. These characteristics help explain its presence among the most relevant products.
Agreement with Finnair
Over the past two years, Embraer has been consolidating partnerships in the aviation sector. One of the most relevant agreements involves Finnair, the Finnish airline.
Finnair signed a memorandum for the supply of up to 46 E195-E2 jets. The proposal is to renew its regional fleet with Embraer aircraft, reinforcing the role of regional jets in the record backlog.
