The Million-Dollar Investment Was Made By The Company Brand, Known For The Environmental Brand, And The Construction Of The New Solar Plant Promises To Revolutionize The State Of Espírito Santo

The Brand Group, known for the Environmental Brand, is making its mark in the renewable energy sector with an ambitious project: the construction of the Juparanã Photovoltaic Plant, which will be the largest solar energy generator in Espírito Santo, according to the website A Gazeta.

With an installed capacity of 7.1 MW, the solar plant, located in Linhares, promises not only to transform the landscape, but also the way locals perceive energy generation.

Clean And Renewable Energy: The Sustainable Future In Sight

In an area of 70,000 m² near the company’s landfill, the solar plant project represents not only an investment of R$22 million but a bet on a sustainable future. Construction is already underway, and operations are expected to start in May 2024.

With the participation of companies Liberum Energia and Aevo Energia Solar, the plant promises not only to generate cheaper energy than the grid but also to pave the way for pathways for innovative solutions in previously underutilized areas.

Innovative Strategies For Underappreciated Areas

The choice of the plant’s location, near the landfill, reflects the innovative vision of the Brand Group. Diogo Ribeiro, Director of New Business, highlights the global discussion about the destination of waste areas. The installation of solar panels not only utilizes spaces close to urban centers but also proves to be a sustainable and economically viable alternative.

This solar plant initiative, combined with the future biogas factory in Cariacica, reinforces the company’s commitment to renewable solutions derived from waste, marking an important step towards a cleaner and more efficient energy matrix. Linhares is about to become not only a center for energy generation but an inspiring example of how to reimagine Brazil’s energy future.
