Figure AI Announces Partnership With US Giant To Manufacture 100,000 Humanoid Robots In 4 Years, Accelerating The Revolution Of Commercial And Residential Robotics
Figure AI has just announced the signing of its second major contract, with a still-secret client, but with transformative potential for the industry.
CEO Brett Adcock stated that the company could ship up to 100,000 humanoid robots in the next four years, thus placing the company on a level of global relevance in the sector.
The Secret Of The New Partner
Although details about the new client remain temporary, Adcock stated that it is one of the largest companies in the United States.

The sea has stopped just warming and has started pushing storms towards the continent: marine heatwaves are already entering the path of up to 25% of extreme coastal rains and can increase storms by 30%, worsening floods on the coast.

Drone flies over indigenous area in Xingu and creates a point cloud capable of penetrating the tree canopy, revealing the forest floor, and mapping archaeological sites, ancient villages, roads, and ditches used to understand the historical occupation of the Kuikuro territory.
Speculation suggests that this partner could be a major retailer or a technology company with significant workforce needs.
The CEO commented that by focusing on a smaller number of large clients, Figure can optimize its resources and improve large-scale robot delivery, which makes the production cycle more efficient and speeds up the collection of essential data for AI development.
“Our newest client is one of the largest companies in the US. This gives us the potential for large volume shipments, which will contribute to cost reduction and AI data collection,” declared Adcock in an update on LinkedIn.
Accelerated Progress Of Figure AI
Figure has been standing out for its rapid progress in creating and launching humanoid robots. In just 31 months after its founding, the company introduced Figure 01, its first robot model, which operated at 17% of the average walking speed of a human.
Next, Figure 02 was launched, which reached a speed seven times greater than the previous model, moving at 3.9 feet per second, or approximately 2.68 miles per hour.
Although the speed has not yet reached typical human pace, the company remains optimistic about the ongoing development of new models, with Figure 03 already in laboratory testing.
The highlight is the use of artificial intelligence, which allows Figure’s robots to quickly adapt to new tasks.
Adcock emphasized that the end-to-end neural network was an important breakthrough for the company’s new client, allowing the robots to learn on their own, without the need for complicated programming.
“Every instance of these AI-driven policies in action seems pure magic,” said the CEO, showcasing the potential of AI to transform the robotics sector.
Global Competition

The humanoid robot industry has attracted major players, such as companies like Agility Robotics, Tesla, Unitree, and Apptronik competing for a spot in the emerging market.
Additionally, the Chinese government has shown a strong commitment to advancing humanoid robotics, with companies like Zhiyuan Robotics (Agibot) and MagicLab heavily investing in the development of robots for industrial use.
China, for example, plans to incorporate humanoid robots into its industrial fabric by 2027, which represents a major bet on the sector.
However, Figure AI, with the announcement of its second high-profile client and the possibility of delivering 100,000 units, may be positioning itself ahead of many competitors, especially in the commercial market.
