The National Service for Industrial Training (Senai) announced last week the opening of 6,000 slots in free online courses aimed at those planning to start 2023 studying at the largest professional education network in Latin America. This is a new opportunity for those looking to enhance their professional resume and secure a position or promotion in their current job. The options cater to both those who wish to study from home and those who prefer in-person classes. Furthermore, a significant portion of the slots are free.

States Offering Free Distance Learning Courses from Senai

Senai offers free courses available in various locations; keep informed about the main opportunities opened by the institution and their locations:

SENAI Bahia

Senai in Bahia has 1,400 slots in free online courses for professional development, aimed at low-income individuals aged 16 and above, who meet the specific requirements of each course.

Federal District

Senai DF has 3,680 slots in free distance learning courses offered through the Senai Program of Regulatory Free Education.

Of these opportunities, 3,940 are in professional qualification courses and 190 in technical courses. There are offerings in the fields of Food and Beverage, Civil Construction, Automotive, Energy, Electro-electronics, Environment, and much more.

Paraíba

Senai in Paraíba has 232 slots available for free online courses such as Motorcycle Mechanic, Electrical Installer for Low Voltage Buildings, Production of Christmas Dinners, Occupational Safety, among others.

In total, there are 232 slots, with these positions offered in-person, distance learning, or remote, in the formats of Professional Initiation, Professional Qualification, Professional Improvement, and Certification.

Rio de Janeiro

FIRJAN SENAI has openings for distance learning courses in the fields of Food and Beverage, Automation, Audiovisual, Automotive, Construction, Management, Electro-electronics, Metalworking, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Software, Apparel, Graphics, and much more.

Learn How to Register for Free Online Courses at Senai

Those interested in participating in the opportunities must access the Senai website corresponding to their state of residence, complete a form, and attach a copy of their ID (front and back). Subsequently, the candidate will receive an email to confirm their registration. It is possible to enroll in more than one course, as long as they are in different shifts.

If the number of interested candidates exceeds the number of available slots, the excess candidates will be placed on a waiting list. The slots in free courses will be filled in the order of registration, and Senai will contact candidates via email or phone to invite them to confirm their enrollments in person when the class reaches the required number of students.

The deadline to visit the school where the free courses will be offered is up to two business days after the invitation, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

Documents Required for Enrollment

Individuals under 18 interested in slots in free online courses at Senai must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Failure to attend within the specified timeframe will result in loss of the slot. It is important to note that to finalize the enrollment, applicants must present the original and a copy of their ID, proof of education, CPF, and proof of residence.
