The Multinational Leader in Hydrogen Production, Air Products, Supports the Green Hydrogen Course Promoted by Senai Ceará
Renewable energies represent the future of sustainable development, and green hydrogen is one of the main solutions for a clean economy. In this scenario, Ceará stands out due to its capacity for wind and solar energy production, used in green hydrogen production, one of the industry’s bets as a sustainable fuel. Aiming to train new professionals, Senai Ceará is launching the “Introduction to Green Hydrogen Course” with support from the multinational leader in hydrogen production, Air Products.

Air Brazil Gains Prominence in the Market
One of the highlights is the productive arrangement between Air Products and other partners in the NEOM project, for the installation of a factory producing ammonia from green hydrogen, powered by renewable energy, in Saudi Arabia.
Considered the largest green hydrogen project in the world, it will provide 650 tons of carbon-free hydrogen per day for global supply, which will reduce CO2 emissions by three million tons per year.
Expected to start operations in 2025, Air Products will be the exclusive buyer of the green ammonia, which will be destined for green hydrogen production in various international markets, primarily targeting the mobility sector.
Multinational Aims to Test Hydrogen as Fuel for Vehicles
Air Products also supports the SAE Brasil & Ballard Student H2 Challenges, a competition that will test hydrogen as fuel for Baja or Formula SAE-type vehicles, having supplied hydrogen for the tests and conducted training on refueling with 170 engineering students.
“We are very happy to contribute to the course at Senai Ceará. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals in the area or those who want to specialize. We believe in green hydrogen as the fuel of the future, and we know that the energy transition is essential. Moving from fossil fuels to clean energy is an important step for humanity, so that there can be a more sustainable planet,” highlights Marcus Silva, General Manager Brazil and Argentina.
