This announcement positions the Chinese manufacturer ahead of traditional competitors like Scania and Volvo, who have dominated the high-power truck market for years. Shacman redefines expectations by standing out as the most powerful production truck in the world, surpassing the V8 model with 770 hp from Scania launched in 2020.
The beating heart of the X6000 is the Weichai WP17H800E68 engine, a 16.6-liter V8 that meets strict Euro 6 standards. With an impressive 407.8 mkgf (4,000 Nm) of torque, this mechanical monster places Shacman at the forefront of truck engine technology. The S16AD transmission, automated with 16 speeds provided by Fast Gear, demonstrates the Chinese company’s commitment to heavy operations.
