The content of Eduardo Bolsonaro’s message to Petrobras’ Chinese partners referenced the country’s symbolic adherence to the Clean Network, which is a diplomatic initiative by the government of former President Donald Trump, aimed at curbing the advancement of Chinese companies that also invest in Petrobras within the global 5G market. He also listed the Chinese Communist Party as a “hostile organization and enemy of freedom.”
