New Generation of the Peugeot 208 Comes with Renewed Design, Advanced Technology, and Efficient Engines, Promising to Lead the Segment
The Peugeot 208 2025, recently launched in Europe, will arrive in Brazil with various improvements. The model, which is one of the most sophisticated cars in its segment, will be built on a modern platform shared with the new Opel Corsa. Its dimensions remain the same: 4.5 meters in length, 2.53 meters in wheelbase, 1.73 meters in width, and 1.45 meters in height, with a trunk capacity of 265 liters.
The new Peugeot 208 features a refreshed look, with a larger grille and full LED headlights at the front. On the sides, the 17-inch wheels and Black Piano mirrors stand out. At the rear, the hatchback includes a spoiler and new LED taillights.
Peugeot 208 2025 Will Have 1.0 Three-Cylinder Turbo Engine
In terms of engine options, the Peugeot 208 2025 in Brazil will offer two alternatives. The first is a naturally aspirated 1.0 three-cylinder engine, delivering 75 horsepower and 10.7 kgfm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The second option is a 1.0 turbo engine with direct fuel injection, producing 130 horsepower and 20.4 kgfm of torque, featuring a CVT automatic transmission that simulates seven speeds.

With these features, the new generation of the Peugeot 208 arrives to change the game, offering a modern and efficient option in the hatch segment. Stellantis is betting heavily on this launch, which promises to win over many Brazilians and surpass competitors Polo and HB20. The model is expected to arrive in the coming months.
