Stellantis Announces Recall in Brazil for Peugeot 2008, Citroën Basalt, C3 Aircross, and Fiat Titano. Issues Range from Intake Manifold Failures to Fire Risks and Unintentional Airbag Deployments. Repairs Are Free and Can Be Scheduled Now
Stellantis has announced a major recall affecting models from the brands Peugeot, Citroën, and Fiat in Brazil. The action was taken after identifying faults that could compromise the safety and performance of the vehicles.
Owners must schedule repairs at authorized dealerships to avoid greater risks.
Citroën and Peugeot Models with Intake Manifold Failures
Among the recalled cars are the Citroën Basalt and C3 Aircross, both from year/model 2025, as well as the Peugeot 2008, also from 2025.

New Fiat car replacing the Siena in Brazil has a range of up to 760 km, a trunk capacity of 525 liters, and a reduced price in a surprising campaign that makes the automatic sedan leave Chevrolet’s rival, the Onix Plus, behind among PcD buyers.
The identified issue is clogging in the intake manifold, which can cause gas evaporation and even non-compliance with environmental regulations.
To correct the defect, the intake manifold assembly will be replaced. The repair needs to be scheduled in advance and will be performed free of charge at brand dealerships.
The estimated service time in these cases may take up to four hours.

Higher Risk in Fiat Titano Models
The most delicate situation involves the Fiat Titano pickup, manufactured in 2024 and 2025. The automaker identified the risk of wear on the front central wiring harness, caused by friction with the instrument panel support.
This wear could lead to fire or even unintentional deployment of the side and curtain airbags on the passenger side, significantly increasing the possibility of serious accidents.
To rectify the fault, an additional protector will be installed on the harness, along with supplemental checks. In this case, the repair takes about one hour.

Stellantis emphasizes that all owners must schedule appointments in advance to ensure repairs are handled within each dealership’s availability.
