- Technical Course in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, or Naval Engineering
- Qualification in Rope Access
- Confined Space Course – NR 33
- Working at Heights Course – NR 35
- Basic Platform Safety Course – CBSP
- Qualification in Boilermaking or Industrial Painting
- One year of experience in the role
