The interior of the national Jeep Avenger will feature a gear lever, ambient lighting, and leather finish. SUV arrives in Brazil by 2026.
The Jeep Avenger will arrive in the Brazilian market by 2026, produced at the Porto Real (RJ) plant — currently responsible for manufacturing Citroën models in the country. The SUV will compete directly with Volkswagen Tera, Renault Kardian, and Fiat Pulse, and will bring an interior specifically adapted for the Brazilian audience, different from the version sold in Europe. According to Motor1, the changes were made based on feedback from Brazilian consumers in surveys conducted by the brand.
Why is the interior of the Brazilian Jeep Avenger different from the European one?
In product clinics conducted in Brazil a few years ago, the Avenger was considered too simple — very similar to the entry-level models of Peugeot and Citroën brands. Based on this feedback, Jeep worked on the interior finish, added more sophisticated textures, and included leather upholstery on parts of the doors and dashboard.

Therefore, what you see in the interior of the national Jeep Avenger goes beyond a simple adaptation: it is a direct response to the demands of the Brazilian consumer.

INTERIOR OF THE EUROPEAN VERSION

Gear lever and ambient lighting: the highlights of the national cabin
The first images released by Jeep reveal the main elements that distinguish the Brazilian version. Check out what changes in the interior:
- Physical gear lever on the central console — absent in the European model, which uses another gear selection system. With it, the storage compartment that existed in the Old Continent version was removed
- Ambient lighting in strategic points: induction charger, central console, side edges of the dashboard, and storage compartments in the door panels
- Leather on the doors and dashboard, enhancing the perception of internal quality compared to the previous generation
- Green color predominant in the first revealed images, although there is no confirmation about other available color options

Engine shared with Citroën and Fiat — and possible more economical version
The fact that the Avenger is produced in the same plant as Citroën cars is no coincidence: both use the same construction base, called CMP. Therefore, the expected engine for the national version is the 1.0 turbo T200, already present in models like Citroën C3, Peugeot 2008, and Fiat Fastback — currently with power between 125 and 130 hp.
For the Brazilian Avenger, the expectation is that the engine will be recalibrated to 115 hp — with gasoline and ethanol — possibly with the mild hybrid system (MHEV) already present in the Fiat Pulse and Fastback models. This power reduction is a strategy to fit the SUV into a lower tax bracket, a tactic also adopted by Chevrolet in the Sonic.
Dimensions, trunk, and expected versions
Despite internal changes, the size of the Avenger should not change compared to the European model. Currently, it measures 4,084 mm in length, 1,776 mm in width, and 1,534 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,557 mm. Compared to the Jeep Renegade, the Avenger is 22 cm shorter but has a wheelbase only 1 cm smaller.
The trunk, in turn, surpasses that of the Renegade: it has a capacity of 380 liters compared to 320 liters of the older sibling. According to information from the site Autos Segredos, the versions will follow the same pattern as the Renegade — Altitude, Longitude, Sahara, and Limited.
Expected price: between R$ 120,000 and R$ 150,000
The price positioning of the Jeep Avenger should be in the same range as competitors like Volkswagen Tera, Renault Kardian, Chevrolet Sonic, Fiat Pulse, Citroën Basalt, and Aircross — that is, between R$ 120,000 and R$ 150,000. The launch is scheduled for 2026, with no exact date confirmed.
