What Is the PROFCOMP and What Is Its Goal
Targeting Basic Education, the PROFCOMP is a stricto sensu, in-person, and simultaneous program nationwide, leading to the title of Master in Computer Teaching.
The proposal is to train teachers capable of developing applied research and innovative pedagogical practices aligned with Computing as outlined in school curricula.
Classes occur from Monday to Saturday, with days and times defined by each associated institution.
Who Can Apply
The announcement states that only public network teachers can apply.
A degree in any area is required, and candidates must be actively working as teachers in Elementary or High School and must continue teaching throughout the course.
At the time of enrollment, the approved candidate must prove their connection to the public network and provide the documentation required by the chosen institution.
National Selection, Remote Exam, and Content Covered
The selection is unified and occurs through an online theoretical-objective exam, administered in a virtual environment with monitoring (proctoring) via video, audio, and screen capture.

To take the exam, candidates need a computer with a webcam and microphone and a connection of at least 10 Mbps.
The content of the assessment includes Logical Reasoning and BNCC Computing.
The final score corresponds to the sum of the points obtained, and those who do not achieve 50% of the total score will be eliminated.
In the event of a tie, the following criteria will be used: highest score in Logical Reasoning, highest score in BNCC Computing, and highest age.
