The Toyota Corolla XEI 2024 has already made its presence felt at Brazilian dealerships. Although the manufacturer has not yet carried out the official launch of this new line of sedan, consumers can already purchase it. Prices range from R$ 148 thousand to R$ 200 thousand, reflecting an increase of approximately R$ 5 thousand compared to previous prices.

On the outside, the Toyota Corolla XEI has received a change in the internal dividers of the grille and the incorporation of new alloy wheels and new tires, with low rolling resistance, wider shoulders, and a greater focus on ride comfort and fuel economy. In terms of safety, it features automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, pre-collision assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.
It is important to highlight that the Toyota Corolla XEI 2024 is being sold for R$ 158,590 and includes a front grille in shiny black, a 12.3-inch digital panel, paddle shifters for gear changes, a sport driving mode, and much more.
New Toyota Corolla XEI 2024 Delivers Great Fuel Economy
Although in the 1.8 hybrid flex configuration, Toyota implemented enhancements to the model, focusing on greater energy efficiency. One of these is related to the tires, which have been changed from specification 225/45 R17 to 215/50 R17. This change results in a 12% increase in efficiency for hybrid versions and 8.4% for those with the 2.0 flex engine. As a result, the fuel consumption of the Toyota Corolla improved by up to 9.18%.
In the 2.0 flex variant, the numbers from the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV) of Inmetro are: 8.6 km/l with ethanol and 12.3 km/l with gasoline in the city, 10.7 km/l with ethanol and 14.9 km/l with gasoline on the highway.
In the hybrid configuration, it showed an improvement of up to 8.47% in the official consumption figures from Inmetro: 12.8 km/l with ethanol and 18.5 km/l with gasoline in urban cycle; 11.1 km/l with ethanol and 15.7 km/l with gasoline in highway conditions.
