Care for Child Development in Primary Health Care

This course aims to prepare Primary Health Care professionals to promote comprehensive development of the child, strengthening the bond between caregivers and children, as well as parenting skills.

With a workload of 30 hours, the course is aimed at higher-level professionals, such as nurses, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, nutritionists and occupational therapists.

The methodology is interactive, with content applicable to the APS routine. At the end, the participant receives free certification.

The training teaches how to use the notebook in its entirety, recording, evaluating and monitoring the development of children monitored in health units.

The content covers everything from the main types of studies, through the creation of search strategies, to the application of these strategies in the main databases in the health area.

The objective is to enable the student to develop effective research, recovering quality scientific evidence to support clinical, political and management decisions.

Care for Overweight and Obese Children and Adolescents in Primary Health Care

This free 30-hour course was developed to support PHC professionals in caring for children and adolescents with overweight and obesity, according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) criteria by age.

The content presents updated data on childhood obesity, as well as practical strategies for diagnosis and treatment, focusing on diet, physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep and mental health.
