This course aims to prepare Primary Health Care professionals to promote the holistic development of the child, strengthening the bond between caregivers and children, as well as parental skills.

With a workload of 30 hours, the course is aimed at professionals with higher education, such as nurses, doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, nutritionists, and occupational therapists.

Approach to Geriatric Syndromes and Palliative Care in Primary Health Care

It addresses the main geriatric syndromes, the importance of multidimensional assessment of the elderly person, and presents palliative care based on documents such as the Basic and Home Care Notebooks.

This 30-hour course is aimed at professionals and managers of SUS who wish to enhance the use of the Child Booklet as a tool for monitoring and promoting children’s health.

The training teaches how to use the booklet comprehensively, recording, evaluating, and monitoring the development of children followed at health units.

The free course offers an intersectoral view of care, reinforcing the importance of comprehensive attention from the earliest years of life.

How to Search for Scientific Evidence in Health Databases

With a workload of 40 hours, this course is ideal for health professionals, researchers, students, librarians, and civil society members interested in enhancing their skills in scientific research.

The content covers the main types of studies, the creation of search strategies, and the application of these strategies in the main health databases.

The goal is to empower the student to develop effective research, retrieving quality scientific evidence to inform clinical, political, and management decisions.

Care for Children and Adolescents with Overweight and Obesity in Primary Health Care

This 30-hour free course was developed to support PHC professionals in caring for children and adolescents with overweight and obesity, according to Body Mass Index (BMI) criteria by age.

The content presents updated data on childhood obesity, as well as practical strategies for diagnosis and treatment, focusing on nutrition, physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep, and mental health.

It is an essential training for those who wish to act preventively and therapeutically, promoting health and quality of life from childhood.
