The Vale do Paraná Plant, controlled by the Pantaleon group from Guatemala and the Manuelita group from Colombia, is certified under the National Biofuels Policy, RenovaBio, and was officially certified on November 18, 2019, by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP).
Vale do Paraná is the second certified ethanol-producing unit in the São Paulo program, the first certified is the Boa Vista Plant from São Martinho. In total, the company controls four plants: São Martinho, Boa Vista, Santa Cruz, and Iracema.
