About oleoplan

For over 40 years, Oleoplan has been operating in the soybean processing sector and, in 2007, with the start of biodiesel production, it was a pioneer in the sector in Rio Grande do Sul. Currently, they have two soybean processing and biodiesel production units, one in Veranópolis (RS) and the other in Iraquara (BA). The Veranópolis biodiesel plant is the largest in Rio Grande do Sul and, together with the Iraquara plant, produces 10% of the national production of this biofuel.

In addition to the two industrial parks, Oleoplan has a corporate office in the city of Porto Alegre (RS), a waterway terminal in the city of Canoas (RS) for transporting its exports and more than 20 branches for receiving grains spread across the northwest and northeast regions of Rio Grande do Sul. Together, the branches have a storage capacity of over 500 tons and form a support network for their thousands of family farming suppliers, promoting training and ongoing technical assistance to these farmers.
