Offshore Operations Coordinator
Some Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operations of the vessel or other units within the company to carry out underwater installations, developing, evaluating, and implementing procedures and selecting equipment to be used for the operations and the fulfillment of contracts, within established standards and deadlines.
Stay informed and updated with the company’s procedures in general, promoting continuous improvements in operational activities and safety on the vessel.
Identify the need for revision of standard and executive procedures of activities, as well as their absence. Ensure that these are followed by the teams.
Identify incidents of behaviors and/or attitudes, unsafe conditions, processes, and/or other related factors. Report to the immediate supervisor and document or request documentation according to the tools in the company’s system.
Prepare calculations for defining positioning (flexible lines, equipment, and others); prepare the execution of the launch and raise awareness among vessel teams about the operations to be carried out.
Supervise operations on the deck, being the final responsible for everything that occurs on the deck. Interact with the ROV team to instruct them on the work to be performed.
Interface with the Client’s representative along with the Offshore Manager.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Oceanography, or Geology.
Advanced English.
Software: Advanced Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD, Microstation, Navipac.
