Senai/SC Opens 586 Free Slots in Technical Courses for High School Students. Opportunities Cover Nine Cities in Santa Catarina in Areas Such as Technology, Civil Construction, and Occupational Safety
The National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai) of Santa Catarina is offering 586 free slots in technical courses aimed at first-year students of the state public high school system. Registration is open until August 24, and classes start on September 8, covering units in Blumenau, Indaial, Luzerna, Palhoça, Pomerode, Rio do Sul, São Bento do Sul, São José, and São Miguel do Oeste.
According to Senai, the initiative is part of the CaTec, a program by the State Department of Education that expands access for young people in the public system to technical training. The courses are free of charge, include meals, and combine theoretical and practical classes.
Who Can Enroll and How the Selection Works
The slots are exclusive to students enrolled in the first year of the state public high school. The initial registration is done on the official Senai/SC website. After registering, the student must schedule a visit to the unit, accompanied by parents or guardians, to learn about the available training and clarify any questions.
