The Honda City Touring 2025 features updates that reinforce its market position. Its design combines elegance and modernity, with full-LED headlights that include high beams, turn signals, and fog lights in the same standard. Additionally, the model stands out for its driving assistance technology, such as lane-keeping assist, lane centering, and the new Low Speed Follow feature, which offers greater convenience in urban traffic.

The City Touring also comes with an electronic parking brake, wireless phone charger, and an upgraded, more responsive and intuitive multimedia center. The dual-zone digital air conditioning and partially digital dashboard complete the convenience package. Under the hood, the 1.5 naturally aspirated engine with 126 hp and 15.8 kgfm, combined with the CVT transmission, offers smoothness and fuel efficiency, with averages that can exceed 20 km/l on the highway with gasoline. The price of the Honda City Touring 2025 is R$ 141,400.

The Volkswagen Virtus Highline 2025 maintains the proposal of being a sophisticated sedan with great performance. Like its rival, the Virtus features full LED lighting and a set of driving assistance that uses radar. Among the features are front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

The VW Play multimedia center is one of the highlights of the Virtus, with the possibility to install applications directly on the screen. The Active Info Display, a fully digital and configurable dashboard, is also present, ensuring a customizable driving experience. The 1.0 turbo engine with 128 hp and 20.4 kgfm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, provides agile and efficient driving, with averages of 13 km/l with ethanol. The price of the Volkswagen Virtus Highline 2025 is R$ 143,990.

Comfort and Convenience

Both models provide comfort for all passengers, with air-conditioning vents and USB ports for the rear seat. The trunks also stand out for their generous capacity, although the Virtus has an advantage by offering a full-size spare tire, while the City adopts a compact model.

Engines and Efficiency

In terms of engines, the sedans follow different philosophies. The Honda City Touring 2025 focuses on balance with its naturally aspirated engine and exemplary fuel economy, while the Volkswagen Virtus Highline 2025 prioritizes performance, thanks to the turbo engine with high torque.

In initial tests, the Honda City Touring recorded an average of 20.2 km/l with gasoline, while the Virtus achieved 13.2 km/l with ethanol. Despite the difference, both prove to be efficient within their proposals.

Which is the Best Choice?

Choosing between the Volkswagen Virtus Highline 2025 and the Honda City Touring 2025 depends on the buyer’s profile. For those seeking fuel economy and advanced assistance technology, the City Touring is an excellent option. On the other hand, the Virtus Highline is ideal for those who value performance and connectivity.

Both models have attributes that appeal to different audiences and reinforce how competitive the midsize sedan segment has become. The best option is to schedule a test drive and see for yourself which one meets your expectations!
