Voltalia Energy Is Planning to Build a New Giant Wind Power Plant in Bahia. The Project Promises to Generate Hundreds of Jobs for Residents of the Municipality of São Gabriel.
Voltalia Energy of Brazil plans to invest R$ 1.5 billion in the construction of a giant wind power plant in São Gabriel, a municipality in Bahia. With this investment, the company expects to create 230 direct and indirect jobs during the operational phase and another 4,000 jobs during the construction of the wind power plant. Additionally, with the investment from Voltalia Energy, it will be possible to generate 306 Megawatts (MW) per year in the municipality.
Voltalia’s Wind Power Plant Is Part of Ten Others That Will Be Installed in Bahia
The announcement of the project in Bahia, which promises to generate thousands of jobs, was made during the signing of a letter of intent with the State on Wednesday (6), through the Secretary of Economic Development (SDE).
This is Voltalia Energy’s second investment in the state.
