Free Technical Courses Are Being Offered by the Government of Pernambuco and the Secretary of Education and Sports (SEE)
Today (06/02), the Government of Pernambuco, through the Secretary of Education and Sports (SEE), opened selection for the filling of 15,083 vacancies in 35 technical courses across all regions of the state. Of the total, 7,223 are for the EAD Hybrid mode and 7,860 for In-Person Subsequent mode. Registrations began this Tuesday (1st) and will continue until the 10th on the Secretary’s website. The technical courses being offered by the state government of Pernambuco, through the Secretary of Education and Sports, are: Agroecology; Advertising; Radio, TV, and Internet; Audio and Video Production; Visual Arts; Theater; Graphic Design; Interior Design; Library Science; School Secretary; Translation and Interpretation in Sign Language; Renewable Energy Systems; Administration; Foreign Trade; Logistics; Marketing; Human Resources; Electrical Engineering; Mechanics; Mechatronics; Chemistry; Occupational Safety; Construction; Environment; Clinical Analysis; Nursing; Nutrition and Dietetics; Dental Prosthesis; Oral Health; Systems Development; Multimedia; Computer Networks; Tour Guide; Hospitality and Events, which encompasses 35 technical courses.
In the EAD Hybrid mode, the classes for the technical courses will take place remotely, with weekly meetings, and in-person tests at the end of the module. Students in their 2nd year of high school or those who have already completed this stage of education can register for this mode. In the free technical courses, in the In-Person Subsequent mode, individuals who have completed high school can register, and the classes will be in-person.

Conducting Courses with the COVID-19 Pandemic
The state government of Pernambuco stated that, to allow the resumption of in-person activities of technical courses during the COVID-19 pandemic, a protocol book was created with rules for social distancing, protection mechanisms, monitoring, and communication of the disease.
The educational units, according to this protocol, must check the students’ body temperature, provide hand sanitizer dispensers in the hallways, sinks for hand hygiene, and hand sanitizer stations at each classroom entrance. During the free technical courses, masks and face shields will be provided for teachers and other professionals, sanitizing mats, and informational posters.
How to Register for Free Technical Courses in the State of Pernambuco
The steps to participate in the free technical courses in Pernambuco:
- Registration period for candidates in technical courses: 1 to 06/10/2021;
- Conducting objective tests: 14 to 22/06/2021;
- Publication of the exam for review: 25/06/2021;
- Receipt of Appeals: 25 to 28/06/2021;
- Publication of Final Results (after appeals): 01/07/2021;
- Registration period: 05 to 09/07/2021;
- Publication of Results – 1st Reassignment: 13/07/2021;
- Registration period – 1st Reassignment: 14 to 15/07/2021
- Publication of 2nd Reassignment: 19/07/2021;
- Start of classes for technical courses: 02/08/2021.
To register for the free technical courses in Pernambuco, the candidate must register at the Secretary of Education and Sports website, and validate the registration via email. The tests will be conducted from June 14 to June 22, in an electronic and remote format, with 20 multiple-choice questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics. The registration period is from July 5 to July 9, and candidates must do it in person at the school/location.
