Immediately, not only Petrobras but all companies involved in the Comperj works complied with this request and have since been operating with about 30% of the workforce that was mobilized up until the date of the request, which means that approximately 4,000 workers are temporarily away from site activities, and the companies are applying remote work wherever possible.
In light of this situation, Petrobras informs that the schedule for the Comperj works and the gas pipeline will be reassessed.
Comperj – Integrated Project Rota 3 Petrobras
The Integrated Project Rota 3 will provide the third route for the flow of natural gas from the pre-salt. The project consists of the Natural Gas Processing Unit (UPGN) which will have the capacity to process up to 21 million m³ per day.
In addition to the UPGN, the project includes the construction of a pipeline with approximately 355 km in total length, with 307 km being offshore – already built – and 48 km being onshore, which is under construction, and will transport natural gas from the Pre-Salt Pole of the Santos Basin to the UPGN.
