UECE and Dell Offer 500 Vacancies in Free Online Courses (EAD) with Certificates in English, Computer Science, Office Package, and Much More! Enrollment Until February 15!
UECE, the Ceará State University, partners with tech giant Dell to offer 500 vacancies in free courses with certificates in computer science, Excel, English, and much more! Classes will be 100% remote (online / EAD). Registrations for the Free Digital Education Program will be open until February 15 and will be made exclusively online.
The program will be funded by DELL COMPUTADORES DO BRASIL, therefore, it will be offered free of charge to the Brazilian population.

Below Are the Free Courses Offered by Dell
There will be six courses (WITH and WITHOUT tutoring) and a Track (with two modules) WITH tutoring and mentoring. When you register, you can choose more than one course, including the 1st module of the Track.
- Basic English 1 with Emphasis on Information Technology – The perfect starting point! Mastering basic English with a special focus on IT opens doors to understanding technical terms and communicating globally.
- Basic English 2 with Emphasis on Information Technology – Advancing in learning, this course builds on the previous foundation, diving deeper into IT-specific vocabulary and preparing you for more technical interactions.
- Practical Computer Science – With a solid foundation in technical English, it’s time to familiarize yourself with the fundamental concepts of computer science. This course provides an essential overview that will serve as the basis for all subsequent learning.
- Basic Features of Microsoft Excel – Learning to Create Spreadsheets – Excel is an essential tool in almost every professional environment. Learning to create effective spreadsheets is a crucial step for managing data and performing basic analyses.
- Introduction to Office 365 – Expanding Excel skills, this course introduces the complete ecosystem of Office 365, preparing you to competently use various productivity tools in the workplace.
- Introduction to Google Online Apps – With 50 hours dedicated, this course deepens your knowledge of online collaborative tools, essential for teamwork and project management in the digital age.
- Creating Accessible Content in the Editory Tool – At this point, you already have a good understanding of IT tools and how to communicate in them. Now, learn to create accessible content, ensuring that your messages reach all audiences effectively.

There will be 200 (two hundred) vacancies allocated for tutored classes for the courses 1) Practical Computer Science (50h); 2) Introduction to Google Online Apps (50h); 3) Basic English 1 with Emphasis on Information Technology (77h) and 4) Basic English 2 with Emphasis on Information Technology (100h).
100 (one hundred) vacancies distributed for classes with tutoring and mentoring for the track: Producing Accessible Content for DAL (1st module – 25h) + Creating Accessible Content in the Editory Tool (2nd module – 25h).
200 (two hundred) vacancies allocated for classes without tutoring for the courses 1) Basic Features of Microsoft Excel (15h); and 2) Introduction to Office 365 (26h).
Certificates for approved individuals will be issued within a maximum of 60 business days after the last day of the course and made available on the platform for download. In the case of the track, a unified certificate will not be issued; each course will have its own certificate.
Enrollment
Registrations are made through the Lead Portal until February 15. Students who are already registered on the platform do not need to re-register. Within the platform, simply select the “Free Courses” option and enroll in the course of your interest. Each candidate may enroll in a maximum of two courses.
