The Apprenticeship Program of Gerdau in Partnership with Senai in Minas Gerais Will Offer Free Courses in Electromechanical Maintenance and Steel Process
The largest Brazilian steel producer, Gerdau, is offering 80 spots in the Industrial Apprenticeship Program (Electromechanics or Operational) in partnership with Senai in Minas Gerais. The program lasts for 24 months, consisting of 12 months of theoretical classes and 12 months of practical training.
To participate in the Gerdau apprenticeship in partnership with Senai in Minas Gerais, it is necessary to have completed or be enrolled in high school, be between 17 and 22 years old, and reside in Ouro Branco, Conselheiro Lafaiete, or Congonhas in the state of Minas Gerais. Applications must be submitted by September 15 on Gerdau’s website.
Classes will start in February of next year. The curriculum of the free course from Gerdau in partnership with Senai in Minas Gerais will be developed over a year and a half. The content will be divided into theory (Senai) and practice (Ouro Branco plant). Gerdau will offer benefits such as a scholarship, health plan, and transportation to the cities of Conselheiro Lafaiete and Congonhas.
