The New Vehicle From Jeep, The Jeep Avenger Brazil, Will Be The First Electric Model From The Company And Will Join Components From Peugeot, Renegade And About 400 Km Of Range. Car Launch Is Scheduled For 2023
Right after the announcement of the launch of three electric SUVs in September, Jeep revealed the first one at the Paris Motor Show in 2022, scheduled to hit the European market in early 2023. Named Jeep Avenger Brazil, it will be the first electric vehicle in its history. The CPM platform is the same as that of the Peugeot e-208, as the French brand is also part of Stellantis.
Under the hood, the Jeep Avenger Brazil has a motor powered by a 54 kWh battery, capable of delivering 156 hp of power and 26.5 kgfm of torque. In the WLTP cycle, the vehicle’s range is approximately 400 km, according to the manufacturer.
Jeep also states that only three minutes are enough to restore the vehicle’s range by up to 30 km. In 24 minutes, about 80% of the battery charges at 100 kW stations. A full charge on an 11 kW wallbox takes 5 and a half hours.
