What is expected over the months of March and April is the delivery of over 1.1 million m³ of biodiesel to distributors, totaling about R$ 3.4 billion in transactions.
Amaral emphasized by saying that “the stability of prices throughout the two months of deliveries, March and April 2020, is the result of the solid structure of the biodiesel commercialization system through public auctions. This model generates strong competition among participants and high transparency, resulting in better prices for the final consumer.”
The forecast is that biodiesel production in 2020 will reach 6.9 million m³, 17% more than last year, which should generate a financial movement of around R$ 20 billion.
