Sectors Such As Information Technology, Engineering, Health, Law, And Arts Are Among Those That Approve Professionals To Live And Work In The US Legally.

The areas of technology, health, engineering, law, and sciences are among those that offer more ease for immigrants seeking to work in the US with a visa or Green Card in 2025. According to information released by consultant Ricardo Molina, a specialist in immigration processes, strategic sectors of the country have received priority in approvals due to high demand and a shortage of skilled labor.

Among the most prominent professions are those related to information technology, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, automation, and microchip production, areas considered emerging and of national interest by the United States. The US government has heavily invested in regaining global leadership in semiconductor production, making these professionals highly sought after.

Directly linked to technology, various areas of engineering also emerge as a priority for immigration, including civil, environmental, industrial, and energy engineering. Billion-dollar infrastructure projects aimed at both large-scale works and energy transition increase the demand for specialists.

Health And Education Lead Among The Most Approved Professions

In the healthcare area, nurses and physiotherapists have the fastest processes to work in the US, requiring only approval in professional council exams. The exam for nurses can even be taken in Brazil, which speeds up hiring. Doctors and dentists also have good prospects, although they need to validate diplomas and, in the case of doctors, redo residency on US soil, except in states that have created special programs to facilitate this step.

Professionals in education and psychology are also on the list. Psychologists, psychotherapists, special education teachers for children and adolescents are sought to meet the predicted deficit of professionals in early childhood and special education. The country has already begun to adopt policies to attract foreigners in these areas.

Another category that stands out is that of lawyers, with opportunities in environmental law, data protection, and international mediation. Projects aimed at foreign legislation and business consulting are increasingly valued, especially for companies that operate globally.

Sciences, Arts, And Sports Complete The List Of Opportunities

In addition to the exact and human areas, sectors related to environmental sciences, biotechnology, and agronomy have also received significant attention, especially in projects related to pollution reduction and climate change. Professionals who develop sustainable solutions find ample space for action.

The United States also prioritizes artists, musicians, photographers, dancers, and high-level athletes, especially those participating in national and international competitions such as the Olympics and World Cups. Athletes and artists with proven relevance are able to secure visas more easily.

Finally, researchers, university professors, and scientists with solid publications and academic careers have easier access to the EB-2 NIW visa, a category that allows immigration based on national interest. This category has attracted Brazilians, who represented over 1,700 approved families just in the last year.

The information was gathered from data published by Ricardo Molina USA and content published on the Volari channel, which provides immigration assistance for Brazilians. The survey reflects the trends observed in the US market over the past three years.
