In this program, you can complete a master’s degree or post-graduation leading to a qualification or supplementary course that does not confer a final qualification at a state-recognized German university of your choice. It is worth noting that funding for a master’s or post-graduation program already started in Germany cannot be granted.
In general, those who are in their final year of graduation, enrolled in a Brazilian university, and recent graduates with a bachelor’s, teaching degree, or master’s degree can apply for the scholarships in Germany.
In the case of free music courses, there is a specific requirement: the completion of a music degree is expected before the start of the scholarship, or if that is not possible, it is necessary to have exhausted all training options available for your instrument in your home country.
Apply for Scholarships in Germany for Post-Graduate Courses
The goal of the scholarship program in Germany DAAD is to enable additional studies in the mentioned fields, with the possibility of obtaining or not obtaining an academic title at a German higher education institution. The selected candidates for the free courses will receive a monthly scholarship of 934 euros for a period of 10 to 24 months, depending on the desired degree, in addition to airfare and health insurance.
Interested candidates should choose their preferred institution and submit their application for the desired post-graduate course directly to the institution for the 2025/26 semester. At the same time, an application must be made on the DAAD portal for the scholarship. Below is the complete list of courses and their respective deadlines:
- Architecture | Deadline: September 25, 2024;
- Music | Deadline: September 26, 2024;
- Performing Arts and Dance | Deadline: October 14, 2024;
- Fine Arts, Design/Visual Communication, and Cinema | Deadline: November 11, 2024.
