The courses are offered by Ambev as a way to expand access to education and collaborate with the development of workers

Ambev now offers, as a form of benefit, more than 4 thousand technology courses and personal development for its employees. All courses are 100% free and are related to a partnership established between the brewery and an education platform, Education Journey.

Under this bias, Education Journey, a continuing education platform, told the EXAME website that the association created with Ambev seeks, free of charge, to ensure that company employees have access to education content.

According to the companies, the idea behind the partnership is to be able to collaborate with the professional development of Ambev workers, in addition to preparing them for the challenges and obstacles of the job market related to digital transformation and technology.

All courses are issued with certificates, and enrollments are not carried out directly by students.

In addition, all employees, upon completing the courses, will be entitled to a certificate of participation. The offer of courses works as a benefit of the brewery, and enrollment cannot be carried out directly by students, since Education Journey's business model corresponds to B2B2C, that is, it does not negotiate directly with the consumer, but benefits from a partnership with another company.

Therefore, in this case, Ambev – that invests millions in building factories and creating jobs – buys the product and subsidizes it to its employees in a benefits format.

The more than 4 courses available on the platform make it possible to choose from more than 10 different learning paths, namely: Hard and Soft Skills; Management; Data Science; Marketing; Technology, among others. In addition, Ambev employees are also offered courses from 8 partner edtechs, such as Trillio Academy, Descomplica and Rocketseat.

According to Education Journey, since September 2021, more than 300 courses have been started, while more than 200 certificates have already been issued, thus totaling more than two thousand hours of training.
