Bill Gates, cofounder of Microsoft and one of the most iconic figures in the technology sector, has amassed an impressive fortune of US$ 153 billion (about R$ 918 billion). With this wealth placing him as the fifth richest person in the world, Gates decided to take an unconventional path: to donate most of his wealth to charitable causes and leave only a small fraction as inheritance for his children.
