Secex Data Shows Significant Jump in Beef Exports in September, While Pork Continues to Grow and Poultry Records Partial Drop.
The Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex) released on Monday (29) the export data for the Brazilian meat complex for September, considering the 20 business days of the month. Beef has a historic high.
The numbers show significant advances in proteins such as beef and pork, while poultry showed mixed performance compared to the same period in 2024.
Beef
Fresh, frozen, or chilled beef exports totaled US$ 1.654 billion in September, with a daily average of US$ 82.713 million.

Pork
Pork “in natura” reached US$ 328.596 million in exports for the month, with a daily average of US$ 16.429 million. Brazil shipped 127,329 tons, averaging 6,366 tons per day. The average price per ton was US$ 2,580.7. Compared to September 2024, the results indicate a 28.2% increase in the daily average value, a 24.2% increase in the daily average quantity, and a 3.3% increase in the average price.
Poultry
Poultry and edible offal exports, fresh, chilled, or frozen, yielded US$ 777.258 million in September, with a daily average of US$ 38.862 million. The total volume reached 440,502 tons, averaging 22,025 tons per day. The average price was US$ 1,764.5. Compared to the same month in 2024, there was a 5.8% decline in the daily average value, a 2.5% increase in the daily average quantity, and an 8% decrease in the average price.
