Meet the BYD Dolphin Mini, the electric car from BYD that has come to revolutionize the market with its innovative proposals and accessible maintenance, but with exceptions in the warranty
According to the website Auto Esporte, the highly anticipated launch of the BYD Dolphin Mini is about to shake up the Brazilian automotive market. Expected to launch at the end of February, the electric car will arrive with a competitive and innovative proposal, offering maintenance every 20,000 km at more accessible prices than combustion cars. However, there are warranty exceptions that consumers must pay attention to.
The BYD Dolphin Mini electric car will have a maintenance plan with fixed prices for its services, being one per year or every 20,000 km, whichever comes first. The costs for the electric car range between R$ 370 and R$ 1,000, resulting in a total of R$ 6,850 after 200,000 km. These values are lower compared to the maintenance costs for combustion models, such as the Chevrolet Onix, Hyundai HB20, and Volkswagen Polo.
Understand the Maintenance of BYD’s Electric Car and Its Warranty
During the odd-numbered maintenance, which is cheaper, BYD checks several essential items for the electric car, such as brakes, suspension, alignment, among others. In the even-numbered maintenance, mandatory replacements are carried out, such as transmission fluid and brake fluid. Additionally, engine coolant changes are recommended every 100,000 km or four years.
