Cade approves the sale of Petrobras’ Polo Lagoa Parda to Imetame for R$ 9.4 million. The set of three oil fields located near the municipality of Linhares in Espírito Santo was 100% sold by the state oil company. The transaction took place on October 11 of this year. Keep an eye out as Petrobras Drilled the First Well in Uirapuru, in the Pre-Salt of Santos and Begins New Drilling in the Sergipe Basin, Alagoas.
According to the oil company, the sale price will be paid in two installments, the first of 1.4 million dollars upon signing the contract, and the second of just under 8 million dollars at the closing of the transaction.

According to Petrobras, it stated in a note, “The transaction is aligned with the optimization of the portfolio and the improvement of the company’s capital allocation, aiming to generate value for our shareholders.”
The operation complies with Petrobras’ Divestment Systematics and with the provisions of the special procedure for the assignment of rights for the exploration, development, and production of oil, natural gas, and other fluid hydrocarbons, as stated in Decree 9.355/2018.

About Polo Lagoa Parda
Polo Lagoa Parda comprises three onshore concessions in production: Lagoa Parda, Lagoa Parda Norte, and Lagoa Piabanha. Petrobras is the operator with a 100% stake in all three fields.
The current average production of the Polo is approximately 300 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and 5.5 thousand m3/day of gas.
