Senac-SC Platform Offers 70 Free Online Courses with Digital Certificate. Initiative Supports Commerce and Tourism Companies and Includes Training in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, and Occupational Safety Standards.
Commerce and Tourism companies can train their teams with 70 free online courses, all with nationally recognized digital certification, through the Senac Empresas platform developed by Senac-SC.
The goal is to enhance the qualification of workers and support the competitiveness of the sector, especially given the difficulty in finding specialized labor.
According to the regional director of Senac-SC, Fabiano Battisti Archer, the proposal aims to “broaden the delivery to society with free courses, with certification and the quality that only Senac offers.”

Training in High-Demand Areas
The catalog includes topics that reflect market trends, such as Artificial Intelligence Applied to Business, Digital Marketing, and content on NR-1, which addresses general provisions of occupational safety legislation and Occupational Risk Management (GRO).
The standard has been updated to include psychosocial factors and provides for an adjustment period until May 2026, increasing the demand for specific training.
The courses are self-instructional, meaning participants can decide when and how to study.
This flexibility allows employees to maintain learning even with busy schedules, as well as democratizing access in regions where the availability of in-person training is lower.
How the Platform Works
Of the total courses, 36 are open to the general public and 34 are exclusive to registered companies.
In the case of organizations, the platform creates a management environment where responsible parties can monitor team performance and distribute access as needed.
At the end of each track, participants receive a digital certificate, a document that proves course load and content.
This certification is accepted throughout the national territory and can be used both in internal promotion processes and as a differentiator in external selections.
For Archer, the free access does not compromise quality.
He emphasizes that the content has been prepared with the same rigor applied to paid training, respecting the relevance of professionals’ time.
Senac Empresas and Senac Empresarial
Senac-SC also maintains Senac Empresarial, focused on personalized solutions for companies seeking consulting, hybrid or in-person courses, and custom projects.
According to Renata Rubik, director of education at the institution, while Senac Empresas ensures quick access to free training, Senac Empresarial offers in-depth support and close follow-up with instructors.
This way, companies at different stages of maturity find suitable alternatives: ranging from introductory training to tailored projects for performance gains.
Expansion and Production of New Content
The Senac-SC plans to expand the project in the coming years, with new online tracks, production of e-books and videos, and partnerships in events aimed at the commerce and tourism sector.
The goal is to keep the catalog updated according to regulatory changes, technological advancements, and market transformations.
The free access also serves as an entry point for companies that have not previously engaged with the institution’s corporate solutions, creating opportunities for integration with more advanced projects.
Who Can Participate and How to Enroll
Registration is open for companies of any size linked to Commerce and Tourism.
The process is simple: the manager registers for free on the Senac Empresas website and, after validation, receives access to share with their team.
From there, they can choose the desired courses and start studying.
